Want to rent a house on iceland

we are a family from Norway, who would like to move to iceland for a year or 2.
Were can we find a place to rent? is there a web site were people rent out appartments/ houses?

http://www.leigulistinn.is/ is one of the biggest rental services, but their services cost. you can try to email them if you can´t find out of the icelandic user interface...

http://www.leiga.is/ is one of the new rental services, searching is free, the apartment owner pays for the services if/when someone rents the apartments.

Heisann. har du ein bestemt plass på island du vil leiga? Det er ganske dyrt å leiga rundt reykjavik. billigast er å leiga på vest fjordane. Men der er voldsomt lite arbeid å få.
