I recently did an X-ray at the hospital and the doctors said I should quit smoking. But I don't even smoke! I was coughing for years and they could see my lungs are irritated by dust, even resulted in scar tissue from all the coughing. So after some thinking I know this is because I often drive in my Hilux without a good interior HEPA system. And when I did trips on dusty roads I suddenly had way more coughing!! also after driving in heavy traffic on Highways.. So the air I breath is very polluted and dusty.
Even that I close my re-circulation it doesn't help and I can feel a lot of dust comes in the cabin, especially when there is a car driving in front of me.
now look at my interior filter I just renewed it 2 weeks ago so it looks clean, but it is just a silly piece of cloth type material! very disapointed in it and I really looking for an improvement. There is almost nothing to read online about it. so I thought I would ask the experts here!
Mercedes S class and Lexus have a proper HEPA system is what I hear... Why don't we have good systems in our 4x4's ??!!! while we drive on dust roads more often and go to extreme roads as well!
